一、教学内容:
《新标准英语》第七册 Module 9 Unit 2:Do you want to go to Guilin?
二、教学目标:
1.能力目标
(1)能够教熟练、灵活地运用句型:Do you want to … ?
(2)能够询问他人的意愿和表达自己的意愿。
2.知识目标
(1)用简单的英语描述祖国各地的风景名胜。
(2)初步认识世界,欣赏各地风土人情。
3.情感目标
使学生感受祖国秀美的山川,增强热爱祖国,爱护环境的情感。
三、教学准备:
1.教师准备中国地图及学生学习课文的练习。
2. 学生准备中国地图的拼图及风景名胜的明信片、挂历、图片等。
3.多媒体课件。
四、教学步骤:
A . Warming-up and Revision
1、Sing a song.
2、Review words and sentences.
课件里出示与本课有关的单词,如:beautiful , famous , big , shop , lake , mountain , tall building ,学生进行单词抢答竞赛,并随机造句。
T :(出示课件)beautiful , famous , big …
Ss:(抢答)beautiful , famous , big …
T : Can you make a sentence with this word?
Ss: There’s a beautiful postcard from China.

B . Presentation and Practice
1、Teach new lesson
(1)教师出示中国地图,问学生喜欢去哪里旅游,教师从学生的旅游地点中,挑选和本课有关的地点引导学生进行简要描述。
T : Look, it's a map of China. Where do you want to go in China?
Ss: Beijing! I want to go to Beijing.
T : Why?
Ss: Because it’s very big and very famous. There is a Great Wall there. The Tian’anmen Square is there.

(2)在学生叙述想去游玩的地点的同时,教师表示出对一些地方的向往,并引导学生用问句:Do you want to go to …? 对教师进行提问,猜测出教师想去游玩的地方。
T : 听了刚才同学们对各地城市的描述,Miss Chen也动心了,想和同学们去旅游。你们知道Miss Chen想去哪里么?
S1: Kunming?
T : You can ask me : Do you want to go to Kunming?( write on the blackboard )
S1: Do you want to go to Kunming?

(3)操练本课的句型。
(4)P36活动2。教师给学生1分钟的时间,让学生进行中国地图拼图竞赛,时间停止后,根据学生所拼好的旅游地点进行学生间的相互询问。
S1: Do you want to go to …?
S2: Yes, I do. Do you want to go to …?

(5)教师告诉学生有一家外国人到中国来游玩,他们正在讨论假期安排时每个人都有不同的意见,让我们来听听他们都说了些什么。教师让学生拿出课前发下的“课文练习”,并通过课文录音记录下课文内容。
① 播放课文录音第一遍,让学生熟悉课文内容
T : 我们的祖国地大物博,She’s very beautiful. 国外的友人常常到我们中国来旅游,在今天的课文学习当中,就有一家外国人正在讨论假期到中国旅游的计划,让我们一起来听听吧!
② 播放课文录音第二遍,让学生在练习里记录下外国人想去游玩的地点。
T : Take out your Exercise 1, then write down the words.
③ 播放课文录音第二遍,让学生在练习里记录下外国人想去这些地点游玩的原因。
④ 教师出示课文内容的课件,播放录音学习课文。
⑤ 分句子跟读。
2、Teach the chant
(1)教师出示课件,让学生猜测课件声音里所表示的场所、动作等,复习巩固单词:sea , zoo , bus等。课件画面出现一群孩子们的图画,教师问:你们想不想知道他们想去哪里、想做些什么呢?在学生的猜测过程中,复习巩固词组:want to go to the sea ; want to ride on a bus ;want to visit the zoo …

(2)播放Chant,跟读学说。
C . Consolidation
1、游戏P37活动5。教师让学生拿出课前准备的“活动练习”,在自己所喜欢的地点上打√,而后进行班级间的自由询问,并做好调查记录。
2、教师告诉学生“三小旅行社”推出了“假期自助游”活动,同学们可以自由组织成员进行活动。让学生出示准备好的自己将要去旅游的各地风景图片、明信片、挂历等,通过询问对方的旅游计划以及介绍自己的旅游地点,招揽同伴,结伴旅游。
3、Let’s chant. 把chant中的地点等单词换成学生自己的意愿,齐说韵诗。
五、作业布置:
1、以“I want to go to … Do you want to go to …”为内容造句,制定本周的活动计划,做在英语作业簿上。
2、完成课堂练习P36活动2。
3、预习Module 10
